Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI) visit AKA Robotics

In the afternoon of May 16, Zhu Zhihong, deputy chairman and secretary of the Ship Repairing Sub-Committee of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), and Wang Xiaolong, deputy secretary of the Ship Repairing Sub-Committee, visited Shenzhen AKA Robotics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereina after referred to as AKA) for investigation. He Kai, chairman of AKA, and Li Jiuhua, general manager, and other colleagues wellcomed the distinguished guests and accompanied them throughout the process.

Mr. He expressed AKA’s warmest welcome to the guests, then the two sides discussed the conflict between the efficiency of the new ultra-high pressure water-jet rust removal technology in the green ship repair industry and its cost, and how to efficiently utilize the robotic solution to solve the long-exiting industry pain points. Mr. Zhu Zhihong from Ship Repairing Sub-Committee of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI) explained the industry’s need clearly, encouraged AKA to focus on the industry need and invest strongly on research and development accurately, and avoid blind or Unnecessary trial.

Then guests visited AKA’s robot assembling line, R&D center and QA facilities, and they had a detailed understanding of AKA’s whole technology process. Mr. Zhu Zhihong from Ship Repairing Sub-Committee of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), appreciated the company's efforts on special purpose robots, and gave his valuable suggestions.

Mr. Zhu Zhihong and Mr. Wang Xiaolong also visited the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIAT). Firstly, Mr. He Kai introduced the development history of SIAT, and then showed the guests aroud the Center of Precison Engineering.

Mr. Zhu Zhihong pointed out that with the development and application of the modern science, robot technology is playing an increasingly important role in the field of ship repairing, and "green ship repair" has become industry’s consensus. He hoped that AKA robotics can apply the cutting-edge technology from SIAT, make industy robots faster and better, and contribute to the green transformation and upgrading of the ship repairing industry.

This short but important investigation vist by Mr. Zhu and Mr. Wang from Ship Repairing Sub-Committee of China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI), has clarified AKA's R&A in the future and would engourage the AKA robotis to persist in the combination of technological innovation and green environmental protection, and would lead AKA robotics to the future green ship repairing industry!
